A collection of interactive games and new media art featuring work from Cara Ellison, Hannah Piper Burns, Anna Anthropy, and Nina Freeman. These entries generate new definitions in the field of game design—offering players complex methods for interaction and rewarding a critically-minded, thoughtful gamer. Every medium has those brave and inventive few who experiment, toggle, play, and prod—pushing forward the new art form. These four designers are gaming’s avant grade, and they generously propel us to the next level.
